	2CV World Meeting 2021 in Delemont, Switzerland Caused by international Covid restrictions, the 24th 2CV World Meeting was postponed to 2023.
	2CV World Meeting 2019 in Samobor, Croatia Because of a death in my family, we couldn't attend to this meeting. The first 2CV World Meeting I missed since 1983.
See "2CV World Meeting 2017 in Ericeira, Portugal" slide show	2CV World Meeting 2017 in Ericra, Portugal The 22nd 2CV World Meeting came back to where it took place exactly 30 years ago: Ericeira, Portugal. In 1978 we were here on the same campground for the 7th 2CV Worldmeeting. The entire village was very different, only the part of the campground where the meeting took place in 1987 was somewhat recognizable. Back in 1987 the place was brand new, many freshly planted trees about 4 feet tall, giving no shade. Now 30 years later these trees were grown an offered perfect shelter from the sun.

Our 2CV Friends from Poland had worked hard to host the Worldmeeting. The location was Torun, best known as the hometown of Nicolaus Copernicus. The meeting took place on an airport - plenty of level ground with grass for camping and event locations nearby. The area was also inviting to do some sight seeing in the close neighborhood. Plenty to see and to do.

The event took place at the Motorland Aaragon which had plenty of space and supplied excellent sanitary facilities. The weather was as expected - temperatures comparable to Death Valley with no shade.

Looking back on a long tradition of organizing 2CV events under tough political conditions, our friends in the Czech Republic used all their skills and experience to invite us to one of the best World Meetings in history.
See "2CV World Meeting 2007 in Borlange, Sweden" slide show	2CV World Meeting 2007 in Borlange, Sweden For the first time, the 17th 2CV World Meeting was put together by the Swedish 2CV clubs. The small Swedish 2CV Clubs worked hard to make us all feel welcome. The site on the Borlange Airport was perfect for camping. The airport was closed for the duration of the event, except for a medical emergency and some small planes for sightseeing flights.

A beautiful country, only the weather was not cooperating. The first night brought freezing temperatures, the rest of the meeting was soaked in nonstop cold rain. Only the last day was gorgeous. Most participants however, had already fled from the weather.

It took place in Vinadio which is located in the mountains just north of Nice. This year Europe suffered from an record heat wave - so we were really happy to be high up in the mountains. This meeting broke all records - the number of cars and participants was higher than ever before.
See "ICCCR 2002" slide show	International Citroën Car Club Rallye 2002 in Amherst, MA For the first time in history the ICCCR was held outside of Europe. For the Europeans a big enough event to ship their cars - or just show up without a car. Well, almost 800 Citroëns made it to the meet. Many of them were shipped. This event can be called the biggest Citroën event in American history.
See "2CV World Meeting 2001 in Seeboden, Austria" slide show	2CV World Meeting 2001 in Seeboden, Austria The 14th World Meeting of 2CV Friends was organised by our friends from Austria. The meeting took place in Seeboden at the Millstaeder lake. This town suffers every year from the VW Golf GTI Meeting. The VW people behave like hooligans, so the locals were not too happy having another big car club event in their town. So it was really nice for us to hear after the meeting that everybody in town was very pleased with the 2CV people. No fights, no problems with drunken people - just a permanent traffic jam while 3028 2CVs flooded the small town.
See "2CV World Meeting 1999 in Skotina, Greece" slide show	2CV World Meeting 1999 in Skotina, Greece The 13th World Meeting of 2CV Friends was organised by our friends from Greece. The Greek 2CV club had promised the best 2CV World Meeting ever - well the local authorities were no help reaching this goal. When the organisers came to the place a week ahead of the meeting they found that the town hadn't done their promised tasks. There were no operating toilets and sanitary facilities. So the club worked day and night to make the meeting happen. Thanks to their hard work the meeting was a memorable event.
